Depends on Depot as some have Nights, where have you applied to?

its glasgow central, i have my medical tomorrow

Shouldn't be too bad, would think on 5-6am and done for 11pm(last ones into Glasgow)

how many days a week and how long are shifts roughly?

I'm not sure but I would think you would do 4, 5 or 6 Days a week depending on how the roster is(5 days one week 4 the next).

Can't see the shifts being long, maybe 8hrs?

Shifts are mainly 9.5 ish hours, often rostered over ten hours.

Upside, this equals more days off.

Pay Days are every four weeks for everyone working on the railways.

And that day is tomorrow Next Pay day is 27th April, but its a week in liu, so that would cover work from 25th March- 21st April althought I may have the wrong starting dates- I assume its Sunday starting?

i was told i will be going to manchester on mon 9th to start training, so my forst wage will be a half wage then because of the cut off dates? thanks
