Tractor Transfer at Barrow

    Looking at doing the Cumbrian coast on the Loco Hauled doing the 1004 Preston to Barrow then 1138 from Barrow to Carlisle has anyone done this transfer yet and will I have a good chance of a decent seat on the 1138?

    Hoping it works as I will be doing it with any luck in a couple of weeks! Apparently there is only one time the connection has not been made or held, so hopefully that will be okay :)

    I did Barrow to Carlisle loco hauled last week on the 1437. Plentiful supply of seats; I had Coach C virtually to myself until Sellafield (surprise, surprise) when it became packed solid for about three stations.

    Nowhere near enough to a Pacer :(
    Connection only missed once, last Friday! I was on it the previous day and the BIF>CAR wasnt even in when the the PRE Terminater arrived.
