As much as I like to see quite how pretentiously overblown you can make yourself in response to being challenged, it's evident that you're unwilling to engage properly with the issue.

The issue being .... what?

That sounds like something ISIS would come out with.

ISIS have put to death many Christians in the Middle East for refusing to recant their Christian beliefs. Have you forgotten their phrase of "convert or die"?

I see Paul is up to his old tricks diverting threads that challenge him or his views - perhaps someone might like to start a thread about the divine word of god leaving us to discuss the TU bill here. ;)

Hidden in with all the shenanigans about Corbyn...

I agree that a need to return to the thread is needed so I have gone back to the very first posting of the thread, in which in the explanatory link, it was stated..."People will be protected from undemocratic industrial action".

Therefore I ask the question..."Should people be protected from undemocratic industrial action... or not"

Normally if I say anything I'm described as 'our young socialist rebel member'.

I do agree that people should be protected from undemocratic strike action. But we don't have any undemocratic strike action in the UK; only democratic action, and the Govt wants to get rid of that!

By the rate this is going right now, Socialism on a whole is probably going to be banned in Britain by the Tories, the way I look at it.

I think Socialism has no need of banning as it is quite capable of becoming extinct as a result of those espousing such extreme Socialist beliefs who seem to want to make it as unpopular as ever in Britain to the electorate as a whole.

Well this thread has become a waste of time and so far off-topic that I see little merit in allowing it to continue therefore it is locked.

If someone has something substantial to add on the original topic which hasn't been mentioned so far feel free to report this post to bring that fact to our attention and consideration will be given to reopening the thread.
