The Class 121 is one of the few single-car classes operating on our network today (although they were supplemented by a few similar trailers. The only other such unit initially built as a single vehicle (compare the converted Class 153) is the far more modern Class 139.

150s also share the rare trait of having different appearances within the same Class. (Some have end corridor connections, some don't.)

Class 142's have also recently been usurped by superior stock, coincidentally, the Class 150 was what replaced them.

class 159, was originally built as one class (158), modified and re-classified
