Also, just a tip based on my experience, consider how much time you have available when you sit down to start updating and if you have a fair chunk of time look to get classes with hundreds of locos out of the way - I broke the 66 class down into their sub classes which helped but it still took me ages to complete them. And as for the 08 shunters - give yourself a good few hours and be prepared to see '08' appear every time you close your eyes afterwards :D

On the other hand, if you've only got a short amount of time then just focus on getting the smaller fleets done - 88s for example will only take you 15 minutes but its another class available to everyone :)
Thanks, I don't have a lot of time on my hands unfortunately so that's why I'm dreading updating the 43's! But yeah, I'll start small :)

Love this list! My one suggestion would be to put a rough Entry of Service/Year built and End of service on there too.

Thanks for the kind feedback! It was something I was planning on doing but I figured it'd add on more time to each train and time is something that I unfortunately have very little of

Can I suggest that this thread is pinned to the top? Ben has gone to too much work for it to be lost within the threads.

Update 10

- Updated 37/6's courtesy of @DBS92042

- @Joel_F has once again outdone himself and started work on the DMU images / icons, the first one available for viewing is 140001!

Note: I am still working on updating the trains, it will take time as I don't have a lot of that myself but I can assure you we are working on the database when we can

Update 13

- Updated Class 144's

I believe no 144's are in service now (unfortunately!). If I've missed anything out or got something wrong please do let me know, this is a community based project so I want to involve the community as much as possible :)

Update 13.1

- @Joel_F has added the Class 143 and 144 icons to go along with my previous update of the units, he's even distinguished the 3 car 144's from the 2 car to add that extra info if needed :)

This looks like an excellent resource.
Any particular reason why class 45s are included, but 44s and 46s excluded?

Thanks, I didn't put the 44's or 46's in as I wasn't aware of any that are in service anywhere, correct me if I'm wrong though

44004 seems to be a runner:
44004
44008 is on Peak Rail - I'm not sure of its status.
There are three 46s preserved, 46010, 46035, and 46045.

I guess it depends on your criteria for inclusion, because I don't think any of the above are main line certified. But then the same applies to the class 45s which you have included in the database.

Update 16

- @Joel_F has added icons / images to all of the Class 165 / 166's, many thanks go to him as always!

I also have to thank Joel for taking over the updates whilst I've taken a small break, mainly because it was my 15th birthday yesterday but hopefully we'll be back to normal shortly. I'm currently mid-way through updating the 43's so I'll try and get them sorted soon. As always, thank you to Joel for all the help!

Lovely to see the work going into this. I love the addition of the images - it makes it easy to see at a glance which unit is in which livery. The amount of work which has gone into this and which I expect swill continue to go into this is brilliant! :D Just shows what a group of like-minded people can accomplish.

Also - happy birthday @BenW390Fan!

-Peter
