Train Heathrow-Taunton, Return Taunton-Gatwik

Hello!




I wanna go from Heathrow to Taunton in December (11th, return 14th), and I wonder:

1. What is the fastest way (with public transport)


2. How do I get the cheapest fares (I know there is some cheap fares with the train; we are 6 persons)


3. When can I book the ticket?


4. On the 14th we have a flight from Gatwik at 14:20; When do we have to go top catch this plane?

Well, you could go

Heathrow - Reading (coach, rail-air)
Reading - Taunton (FGW train)

You should be able to book it around 3 months in advance

To get back to gatwick you could do:

Taunton - Reading (FGW)
Reading - Gatwick (FGW)

but I'm not sure of the times
