A 69 year old lady contacted me yesterday (18th) to find out what train had just passed Richmond (London) at about 1420 towards Twickenham. Her description was "It was all dark and light blue with flashes on it, pulling 3 or 4 carriage lengths". Today she told me she had investigated and found it was a Class 57 from DRS. RealTime Trains shows a Mountfield to Southampton at that time. Would that have only 4 wagons and be hauled by DRS? Any help would be appreciated as we must encourage older ladies to join our hobby.

I believe it was 57312 (DRS) hauling 319373 552B 1530 Willesden to Eastleigh Works running 120 early and passed Richmond at 1415
bang in front of 4Y19 yesterday

There was a DRS (suspect ROGS) 57 hauled a converted 319 unit from Eastleigh to Wembley yesterday - that sounds like the chap

I think that has solved the problem. Many thanks.

Oops - I didn’t look for potential early runners on Real Time Trains! ‍♂️

Don’t know why my face palm emoji changed to that symbol either.....

Further to the replies above, this is what 319373 looks like:

Spot on description, I'd say!:D
