Sunderland looks very dark and dingy (which I assure you is a compliment!). Do you have a rough date as to when you envisage the new NEE to be released please?

Yes, it was important to try and capture that feel about the place! Unfortunately I haven't got any idea on release as yet, not even anything within a wide range.

Here's a few from the last few days, inlcuding some new purchases:

Taking the first service of the day from Cardiff along the Welsh Marches:

Another investment to compliment the already-owned 313 pack is the 314/315 pack, pictured here on the GEML:

And a pair of 323s at Barnt Green:

Finally, the amazing 411/412 pack, pictured here on a rainy day at Brighton:

Loving those screenshots there @_toommm_: I assume you've got RW Enhancer adding to them? It really adds to TS from what I've seen.

I have indeed. For £9.99???? it's absolutely worth it, it really transforms the game. The game looks even better when you're actually taking the screenshots :D

That's a decent price. I might look into getting it at some point - thanks for the info :D

What are the main advantages? I’ve seen quite a lot of debate online about it, and quite a few people saying it makes locos/units shiny and a bit TSW-like, so I’ve been in 2 minds for some while.

The main advantages are it changing the lighting completely in the game, taking the (in my experience) washed-out default lighting and giving units realistic reflections, along with making night-time actually dark, meaning you're like a real-life driver whose lights don't really light up much of your surroundings and oyu're left to rely on route knowledge (or the HUD ;) ). Dull days become more moody too, and

This is a screenshot on the Wherry Lines on a sunny day w/o RWE:

Screenshot_Wherry Lines - Norwich to Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft_52.47460-1.74210_17-45-51.jpg

Then the same scenario with RWE:

Screenshot_Wherry Lines - Norwich to Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft_52.51259-1.64589_18-02-14.jpg

In my opinion, the first one is dull, whereas the second is a) more aesthetically pleasing and b) more realistic lighting.

I wouldn't say it's at TSW levels as I've always felt TSW is far too blinding.

The contrast is a bit stark but I might have to give that a go for only a tenner as you say! I think I need a bigger SSD first as I’ve filled a 240GB one in 3 months o_O

It's amazing just how much storage it takes. My Railworks folder is up 220GB currently :o

To me the first image seems more natural, actually!

I think many routes are prone to oversaturation, eg the trees in the JT MML Sheffield to Derby route I just purchased are almost radioactive.

Is there a link to RW? Does it alter the colours all the time, or is it a utility for touching up screenshots?

It makes graphics enhancements within TS by utilising new shaders.

Many thanks, I'll give it a go sometime. Judging by the above posts, you can 'switch it on and off'?

I’m pretty sure you can. It comes as a standalone program I know that for sure. I’ll have a play in a bit and see if you can.

I’ll try to post a photo later of when it’s raining with RWE on to show it doesn’t look over-exposed.

Some shots from this weekend of the 56 on the WCML, driving a 68 rescue mission on the Wherry Lines, and an HST from Leeds to Harrogate and back.

All really lovely screenshots! Using the scenery to frame the shot and to add to the picture is very effective indeed.

Just downloaded this RHTT scenario from ATS and had a very quick look before hopefully playing through properly this evening. 2 x AP 37s AND RHTT wagons - what more could you wish for?!

Well I must say that’s one of the best scenarios I’ve played in a long time. Loads of AI, plenty to do and on a new route. This was 3S03 on the Cross City Line.

Time for some more RHTT action today! Drove a scenario starting at Newcastle at 5:20AM using very dirty TNT class 20s. I really enjoy driving at night and this was a very atmospheric run:
