Maybe the staff needed to run 802s are taking half term off or there isn't sufficient staff cover.

As we are now about 7 weeks to the introduction of the new timetable are the looking to increase the number of diagrams over the coming weeks or is it impossible to tell? I assume that Edinburgh- Liverpool (via ECML) will be self contained but they will need to be capable of running that many diagrams by mid December?

really interested when it will be 3, 4 etc.

read elsewhere on the forum that we won’t see more mk5 diagrams introduced before December, as it is difficult to keep the self contained not sure if the same problem exists here as well.

I was looking at RTT to see how they deal with these long units at Newcastle, I suppose some temporary moves are in place pending through running to Edinburgh of course.

But this train is interesting because it arrives in P2, then does an anti-clockwise ECS move via the bridges into P1, and eventually leaves for Liverpool from P1 over the high level.
