802204 reported on another Forum as running 9M08

Yes, I'm on it westbound from Leeds.
Generally a smoother, quieter ride than a Nova 3.
Rapid power changeovers at Victoria, climbs quite well on diesel.
No WiFi on either train.
The 1-line scrolling PIS is too full of generic stuff - it really needs the info panels from Mk5.
My unreserved coach D is nearly empty over Chat Moss.
Nice trains, although I can see extended dwell times at busy stations.

I've been finding the WiFi on 185s very erratic of late, let alone the streamable content, something to do with an upgrade apparently, but I'm doubtful.
They've changed the way you log on.
Connect to the wifi, then go to https://tv.tpexpress.co.uk/. In the top right hand corner, click on the little wifi symbol.
Sign in with your email address as you normally would and then off you go.

9E09 with 802 204 has been terminated at Stalybridge due to a fault on the train.

After taking 802204 to Doncaster. 802210 returned to York to work 9M15 1703 Newcastle - Liverpool Lime St starting at York. Will now work 9E20 (2025 Liverpool - Newcastle) as per diagram

What is going on with these trains. It really doesn't feel like roll out on either Northern or TPE is progressing well.

hats off to TPE for getting 802210 back out in service after rescuing and dragging 802204 to Donny Carr. Suppose it will get 802210 back to Newcastle tonight to start service tomorrow.

one another note/ question- any idea when we could see diagrams 3 & 4 start?

I know this is a timetable point rather than diagramming as such, but when these extend north next month it ought to be a real “game changer” for journeys from Morpeth?

Both diagrams were operated again today. I've started getting 9M04 to Manchester Victoria and walking to Piccadilly seen as the hull direct service is now so full.

I was on both of these sets on Monday and had been musing that the Nova 1 operation seemed much more reliable than the Nova 3s!

I had a look at RTT over this incident, and it seems 204 (9E09) sat for 4 hours at Stalybridge, while 210 completed its run to Liverpool and came back ECS to Stalybridge.
It then ran with 210 to York as 5E09 via the normal route arr 1542, and then ran with the same headcode as a GR service to Doncaster Carr.
Leaving Doncaster Carr at 1700 as 5M15, 210 turned at York 1735/1809 to work back to Liverpool in its booked diagram as 9M15.

Somehow, I expected 210's 9M08 to be cancelled at somewhere like Leeds, and then to rescue 204 from Stalybridge and work direct to Doncaster via Wakefield.
But at least it proves the mutual rescue capability of the 80x fleet without "Thunderbirds".
There was some consequential disruption to other TPE services, with several services turning short.

It's very slow and likely frustrating for both passengers and staff, Northern, however seem to be getting there now with a fair number of 331 and 195s both in daily service, TPE is a different story though with a max of 2 diagrams for MK5, 2 for 802 and NO class 397s in service yet despite the first arriving a year ago!!

Nova 1's are on schedule, in fact TPE brought them in early I believe to aid with training for staff.

I'll be on 9E06 between Victoria and Newcastle on Monday. Can I assume this is also booked as Nova 1?
