I see 769006 was moved on Sunday 4th June as 5Z69 from Canton via Central to the Brickyard for onward transportation. I guess that just leaves 769008, 769421 and 769445.
769008 left in April. 421 & 445 are in Pullman’s, the rest Long Marston.

Or the least slow?!
It could match a 150. It's only since the 769s appeared that I seriously started timing and looking at max point to point speeds. I hadn't realised how slow the 150s are; the Pacers were much faster. 153s are the slowest of the lot.

421 and 445 are currently out of the shed and near to the running lines (on the City Line side), with all the exterior branding removed.

I think that some here thing the thrash that 150s make means that they are fast. The 769 that I travelled on in Lancashire went to over 70mph without much fuss, (in fact I had to check it's speed as it was pretty quiet at that speed, - sounding more like an EMU almost coasting.

I still have a few listed at Canton:

769006
769445
769452

Can anybody advise when these moved to Long Marston (presuming that is where they have ended up) please?

The final TfW 769, 769421 moved just after 7am this morning from Canton as 5Z55 via Central to the brickyard for onward road transport.
Looks like the 769's have almost disappeared....when I drove to work this morning (13th July) along the M4 I spotted and overtook 769421 near J30 (Pontprennau) while it was being hauled eastwards around 07:00 on the back of 3 low loaders. Funny to see these being removed from the Rhymney line - I still remember them from when I used to see them (as 319's) on Thameslink back in (I think) early 90's

When they worked they were actually fairly comfortable trains imo.
