Yes it did the 6:04 Swansea to crewe via HOW then the Crewe-Shrewsbury shuttles for the day then back to Cardiff on the 17:20 via the Heart of Wales.
First time any of the recent transfers has escaped from Cardiff other than the crew trainers I think.

153369 made it up the heart of Wales on the 20/10 tagged on the back of a 150.

Does anyone know how long 323 was away for?

Any info about why its going to Eastleigh? Only just come out of storage at Wolverton.
I'm guessing the same reason all those other ex-LNER Mark 4 vehicles have gone to Eastleigh, for Class 67 compatibility modification and refurbishment work

seriously...? they put them on a few units last year, but I don't really think it's a permanent enough thing to keep a list of (and that's coming from me ) - does make good reading though and looking forward to seeing the TfW liveried units with the poppies on them :p I'll be at Cardiff Central today so should see a few!

OK :) All 3 of today's runs between Crewe and Canton have been cancelled unfortunately :(

You've got me into it; it's good to see the effort that TfW have gone into for remembrance. The poppies are on the floor of the subway at Cardiff Central as well.

I'm a nerd though, I like to get as many units as I can on services! Totally agree re Rememberance.

I'm torn on the whole rememberance thing. I had relatives who died in both world wars both as soldiers and civilians but had other relatives who refused to fight and were jailed as a result.

It seems to me that thoughtful reflection is what is required rather than the over the top poppy-worship that sometimes happens. It should never be nationalistic or bombastic. I think TfW have got it about right.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I agree.

158821 has now received TfW livery and PRM mods, meaning that 158820 and 158833 are the last two non-PRM holdouts!

Other than those, 158819/824/831/835/840 are still blue but PRM'd
