http://www.planajourneyscotland.com is the new URL for the popular journey planning tool, it's no longer on the Traveline Scotland site.

If you use it, you'll need to amend your bookmarks.

And if you don't use it you may want to give it a try.

It's useful for finding out headcodes, stopping patterns, booked platform numbers, ultimate train destination, etc. Much more useful than the NRES one.

Most of the PTEs have their own journey planners, some better than others. They all have all NR journeys for the whole of mainland Britain, so if you're just planning a train journey it doesn't matter which you use.

I'm yet to find one that matches this one though.

Wow, this is very impressive. However, I'm not sure about some of the booked platform numbers out of Hull. For example, the early morning TPE services are all booked out of platform 7, but they have always departed from platform 3 in my experience.

Shame this isn't also linked to fares as well.
