Can you combine this ticket with say an Anytime single Luton Airport Parkway - St Pancras to travel to London during the morning peak? So using the super off-peak ticket to travel Derby to Luton Airport Parkway at say 7am, and then continuing (on the same train!) with the Luton Airport Parkway - London Terminals ticket.

I note that some restrictions restrict the trains you can use, but these seem to restrict your arrival time, which seems to open up this loophole to travel most of the difference on the super off-peak then the last portion on a relatively cheap Anytime.

For a destination of Luton, we are told "if travel is NOT to/via the
stations listed above" (of which Luton isn't one of the ones that has a specific restriction listed) the restriction refers us to 2V. Let's browse to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/pdfs/OffPeak.pdf

Not always applicable as the same restriction code can be used on many flows across the country.

I would hazard a guess that some Great Western-priced flows also use the same restriction code.

Just noticed that the National Rail website uses the wording 'scheduled to arrive' for CI. Brfares has 'arrive at or after' for CI.
