Tree on the Up line between Maze Hill and Greenwich.

Came to a stop just after College Tunnel (driver explained an all-stop order had been received). Driver changed ends to go wrong road back to Greenwich, but the tree was cleared off the Down line and we proceeded into Maze Hill.

The driver was excellent, announcements every few minutes and very detailed.

It doesn't look like there's all that much on the Down Line, so I guess that was quick to clear once NR staff arrived. Obviously you wouldn't want that wrapped around the current collector shoe or dragged along, though, so it's very easy to appreciate why the line was blocked.

It's not the first tree on the line in the South recently - see this news release from Southern about a tree on the line two days ago at Ockley - and I suppose all this has been partially caused by the unusually prolonged gusts over the past week.
