FCC / EastCoast websites are talking about a "trespass incident at Welwyn North" which appears to have caused major disruption into King's Cross and across the whole region this afternoon.
Any idea what has happened to have such a serious effect?

Whatever happened, it seems to have cleared up. The KGX LDBs are only showing delays to one train - the 1823 to Royston looks like being 10 down on departure. In addition, the 1818 and 1848 to KGX from Welwyn North are currently 6 and 4 down respectively. The disruption has now cleared from NRE.

Surprising that they found them asleep in the 4ft ( :o ), but the mentally unstable do end making their way down railway tunnels surprisingly often, normally at quite busy locations.
