Trivia: Class of train that has stopped at the most stations

No doubt it's Class 158s.

Since when has a mk1 coach been a class of train.

I made a response to a post about heritage traction. A mark 1 coach isn't a class of train and this goes without saying, but I feel they are relevent to the discussion, seeing as they were onced used in passenger trains on the network.

Coming from someone who lives in Caerphilly, I wouldn't doubt its accuracy.

And neither do I. Note that the places they mentioned are south of Radyr, or on different lines. (You don't go through Radyr on your way to Rhymney or Ebbw Vale.) It's the track North of Radyr (Pontypridd, Aberdare, Merthyr, Treherbert) that I was describing as being off-limits to 158s.

I've double-checked the above in the sectional appendix: only 14x, 150s and mk1/2 stock are currently cleared north of Radyr.
