I think this question may have been asked before but I couldnt find it.

How many mainline stations still have through freight or passenger lines running through them with no platform faces on them, for non-stop services, and which are still used? Examples I can recall are

Cardiff Central
Newport
Doncaster
Crewe

Redhill. Two fast tracks between Platform 2 & 3 that are still used for freight & when the Quarry Line is shut & late night services.

Kensington Olympia (used to have two through roads but now has one.)

Princes Risborough (also West Ruislip, South Ruislip) on the Chiltern main line. (Many others did have through roads but not anymore.)

Leamington Spa.

Oxford.

Raynes Park. Surbiton. Practically all stations towards Basingstoke in fact (bar Woking.)

Chiswick Park, Stamford Brook on the tube. (I know thats not the main line its just an example.)

You've added a lot in further deliberations :)

Wandsworth Road.

Earlsfield (just the up line.)

Battersea Park (again the up line only.)

Edited to add:

Colchester.

Queenstown Road.

Also:

Royal Oak.

Acton Main Line.

Hanwell (down fast only)

Burnham (Bucks)

Also:

Newbury. Totnes.

Assuming the Huddersfield to Westtown upgrade goes ahead, the new fast lines will bypass Deighton, Mirfield and Ravensthorpe, though maybe you would then not count them as passing through the stations.

More:

South Hampstead.

Queens Park (give or take a bit as the local platforms are closed too.)

Willesden Junction (give or take a bit.)

North Wembley and all stations (bar Harrow & Wealdstone) to Bushey (not forgetting the old Oxhey!)

Rugby.

Tamworth. Lichfield. Stafford.

Norton Bridge (was but since its now a closed station does it count?)

(Not sure if this thread means tracks through the centre of the station or anywhere about a station, sorry.)

Also stations get duplicated because when one is typing away others come up with the same suggestions too.

Edited to add two more:

Northampton.

Eastleigh.

Millbrook (Hants), although it’s inside out - an island with the slows either side and the fast lines on the outside.

If Kensington Olympia counts with 1 through line then Durham.
