Somebody tries to use a hitherto unknown easement of the Routeing Guide to use a Sailrail ticket to Belfast via Guernsey and St Malo.

The Far North Line becomes the Moderately North Line as branches reach Hoy, Stronsay, Scalloway, and Bergen. These trains are formed of anything the network has left - so expect Networkers as commuter trains to Slough and Reading are now run by 442s.

Surely there can be branches to both ****ts too? :lol:

W&F Railways (Wibble and Froth) set up to provide open access services through Channel Tunnel to unserved areas of Europe including Quimper, Breast, Ausfart and Poo (Spain). Company to be based in ****t (UK).
W&FR to be entirely staffed by Forum members who will be supplied with appropriate uniform.

This will be a progressive company that will adopt ALL ideas put forward at weekly meetings.
This will be a complete success as clearly everyone on here is very sensible and knows a lot about running railways.
Rolling stock for use already in storage and being prepared for vinyl wrapping.

I'd like to see:

  • An Established Member railcard, providing the usual 1/3 off rail fares
  • More Voyagers! <D
  • Ellesmere Port over at Merseyrail to join in the 4tph party, whose services will continue on to Helsby, followed by a tunnel under the Mersey to an underground station at Liverpool Airport.
  • This will be funded by way of a Class 442 'swear jar'.
  • Blackpool North to be quarantined, for the good of the rest of the country
  • Paid shower facilities at all medium-major stations, similar to what Deutsche Bahn have rolled out with rail & fresh
  • Through fares to other countries made more widely available and affordable, à la Deutsche Bahn's Sparpreis Europa
  • The entire Tory cabinet forced to spend an indefinite period of time on a 2-car 142, going back and forth on the Mid-Cheshire line, until they either starve, eat each other or agree to use their collective personal wealth to finance immediate full electrification of the North West and introduction of some bloody new trains <D

Although initial doubts are raised about plans to reopen every line to have ever existed, economic doubts are eased by employing on the services every man, woman and child whose home or business had previously been constructed where trains now run. True national rail coverage and full employment, with Crayola stock through the roof.

That would certainly help in making sure that every train has at least one driver, one guard, and one RPI - so that the guard can focus on keeping the train safe while the RPI checks and sells tickets without having to operate the doors or make announcements or the like.

The National Steam Reserve is exhumed from Box Tunnel, refurbished by Mr Riley at Bury and the others and used to provide a top link special express programme around the country.

The Waterloo & City Line reverts to being part of the network. Soon, a gang of enthusiast commandeer a 455 at Surbiton and drive into Waterloo, through the tunnel and up the escalator to Monument.
