As the title says really (apologies if this has been done before). Has to be rail infrastructure from within the station so King’s Cross and St Pancras don’t really count. No underground / trams.
In the same area: Heath High Level from Heath Low Level and vice-versa.Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the distance, but Ty Glas is visible from Birchgrove.
I believe from Coryton you can see both Whitchurch and Rhiwbina stations fairly clearly.Perhaps unsurprisingly, given the distance, but Ty Glas is visible from Birchgrove.
Indeed, Walton-on-Thames is visible from Hersham; once many moons ago (1960s) whilst waiting for my train to school on Hersham platform the Walton station announcements were heard due to a gentle breeze in the right direction.amd I would imagine some of the stops between Basingstoke and Wimbledon and between Reading and London Paddington will be visible from each other again due to the straight and level nature of much of the route
Are you sure about that, I can’t find a possible sight line on a map, and it certainly can’t be a direct view along the tracks...Newcastle and Manors
