Don't know how easy it is to find this out but which station has the least number of any permitted route tickets and which has the most?

I tried to input that station as my arrival a couple of days ago, as one was fenning around with a journey planner. It appeared on the drop down menu of the railway journey planner I used, but came up as a big fat ZERO & would not accept it as a station. Does this mean the taxi service has now gone?

Are you including things like ✠ANY PERM+WIGHTLK (eg MKC to Shanklin) as Any Permitted?

Yes, it is legally open but it is no longer possible to purchase a ticket to or from there.

For me this truly is an impossible question to answer without an end station too or else how would you ever get to know the answer?

Yes I'd count that as any permitted, unless their are multiple ways to get to Shanklin involving other ferry operators.

Todmorden and other stations in that area must be up there. For a large part of the country, both north towards Scotland and south towards London and the South East there is only a "Via Manchester" and a "Via Leeds" ticket available with no "Any Permitted".
