The RMT does have a track record for calling for strike action / balloting / going on on strike and not following it through. The ticket office closures was just one example of this. Obviously each reason for a call to strike has its own merits (and this specific case may well be a deserving one), but usually when stating reasons why action should be called for, many things are conveniently left out and thus the full picture is not given.

Firstly I have not been required to seek the services of an Industrial Tribunal since before I turned 18. If I had done so, the last thing I would have wanted would have been re-instatement to the job.
