Coming this Thursday on BBC2 at 20:00. Full Steam Ahead, the first of a 6 episode series looking how railways changed the UK in the early C19th. It's being done by the same team responsible for the Medieval, Victorian, Edwardian and Wartime Farm series with Ruth Goodman, Alex Langlands and Peter Ginn presenting. Should be an improvement on Trainspotting Live!

A vastly superior programme compared to Trainspotting Live.

I want to ride that slate train powered by nothing other than gravity!

Interesting, entertaining and informative.
