Saw one of the Chiltern loco sets at MYB with 67012 (I think) on the front of the DVT and 67013 at the London end

One of the locos break down? Or are they trying to speed up the Mainline service some more? ;)

Ah, I thought I saw that on Platform 5 as I came in this morning.
That set would usually form the 08:37 to Moor Street, but it was formed of a 168 from Platform 2 instead- no idea why.

If it helps, 67 012 was marshalling a rake at Wembley ( Chiltern ) depot yesterday when I went past on the 13.37 Marylebone - Moor Street; when I returned on the 15.55 from Moor Street the marshalling was complete but the rake was still on shed with 67 012 at the normal London end.

Somebody smashed the cab window of the DVT (second mans side) the night previously, not entirely sure when but it needed a loco to bring it north. The extra loco was then dead hauled back to London where the rake was taken out of service. The 08:37 MYB - BMO and the 10:55 BMO - MYB were worked by a four car class 168 DMU in lieu of this.
