Two Together Railcard and 1st Class London travelcard

I tried to buy a Two Together Railcard discount 1st class London Travelcard from Leighton Buzzard this week but was unable to purchase through on line booking engines or at the station. Travel was made after the morning "Peak" times.

The discount for 1st class Travelcards is correctly applied for Senior, HMF, Gold Card and Disabled railcard holders but not for Two Together both online and in the Tribute machine at Leighton Buzzard.

Reading the conditions of issue with the Two Together Railcard it would appear to be a valid ticket issue as 1st class travel is permitted?

You're right. It should be valid but booking engines are not offering the discount.

I would recommend contacting London Midland.

It's a problem with the fares data that whole industry uses, as BRFares also does not offer the First class travelcard when a Two Together railcard is specified. London Midland should be able to correct this.

London Midland will be able to sort it but you'll have to persist as the customer relations front line staff won't understand the issue and they'll just send you a standard 'cut and paste' nonsense reply.

There was an issue with Gold Card discounts not being applied to ticket to/from Coventry Arena and Bermuda Park, I contacted LM who initially fobbed me off. I escalated the complaint and eventually it was dealt with by someone who understoof the issue and sorted it within a couple of weeks.

Don't give up!

Triplepost: Before you all thank me, thankfully another member of staff (probably whoever served Bogallan at Leighton Buzzard) brought it up, just a coincidence that when I asked the fix was going out today which should be complete by Friday
