took a shot of the whole length after they passed, looks huge!

The 66's past a fairly steady pace not too slow and were not making that much noise for the amount of weight being pulled, the weather was on the cold side! they never seem to do trials duing the summer!

Melkridge

We then took a trip to Melkridge at the old site of Plenmellor for the limestone,

60019 Westbound 6M46 Redcar-Carlisle yard at 15:40

Tyne Yard
66202+66226 Stabled, as you can see the trains length is huge while in Tyne Yard the locos can just be seen in the rear of the yard on the left:

Nice, I would have gone out for 6L66 but went on a (non-railway) trip to York instead.

There's also a slightly different shot available at Bardon Mill from the foot crossing east of the station.

You can just get one of the signals in with an eastbound train. You also know when something's coming as the crossing has the red/green lights. The signal box is closed at weekends, so the signals are off all the time.

Next time wait for 2 more seconds... then you have the side of the locomotive and the front.

i only uploaded that picture for February 2006, i have 8 pictures alltogether of this working today but i don't see any point in uploading them all, soon i will have the picture you requested in tugs 2006 rather than february :)
