Tomo... err... today's the day! 12 Norwich - Cambridge trains are timetabled to extend to Stansted Airport!

But over the last 7 days almost 2/3 of trains haven't made it as far as Cambridge! How many trains do we think will make it all the way to Stansted? Can miracles happen? Or will "Signalling problems" magically strike Stansted Airport too?

Felixstowes on the other hand will be suspended, someone re-infected the signalling again

It's a big change for Cambridge based drivers as the first time they have driven 755s in service alone. Hopefully Stadler tech guys will be all over every train in the same way they where/are for us at Norwich to help out.

Well we are over half way & all in all what a smooth successful launch it has been on the whole. I don't think many where expecting this after the last couple of weeks. Onwards & upwards as they say (please excuse the airline pun).

I must say I'm pleasantly surprised, and so apparently are most people; we're just a few minutes from all but 3 people looking cynical! I hope it lasts; I'd love to look unnecessarily sceptical in all my dealings with GA!

Me too, if somewhat selfishly as I'm fed up of being inundated with GA's disgruntled and disrupted passengers to sort out

Hopefully the worst is over.
