Hi all

Today at about 15:03 I witnessed a pendolino slowly heading south through bletchley on the slow lines!
Also saw, at about 15:20, a Desiro screaming through probably doing around, 100mph towards MK Central on the Fast lines, As my train was leaving. Managed to catch a glimpse of it departing MK Central and it was routed back onto the slow lines North of the station.

Anyone got any ideas whether these are permanent timetables or was there any disruption?

Cheers, Jesse

According to www.opentraintimes.com, the service you saw at 15:20 is the 14:46 from London Euston to Crewe, which is booked on the fast lines from Watford Junction to Milton Keynes Central. See http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/C51341/2012/3/31

I expect that the service you saw at 15:03 was the 13:45 from Wolverhampton to London as this is shown as passing Bletchley at 15:03, 5 minutes late and picking up further delays later on. This is booked fast line so must have been travelling slow line as an unplanned alteration. See http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/C56285/2012/3/31
