Hi all,
Today on the Shepperton line there has been two odd workings,
The 0751 from Clapham Junction was an 8 car 450 according to my manager, it seemed to be swapped at Waterloo for the 455s I am stuck with now at 1135, before forming the 1209 to Portsmouth via Basingstoke.
Is this a new diagram?

Also the 1649 Fulwell to Shepperton was 5724 and 2 456s, is this now normal for this train?

Many thanks in advance

James

Yesterday, a broken down train at Earlsfield caused major disruption at the end / after the evening peak. Many trains were cancelled / severely late. Between 7pm and 11pm, there had been no train at Waterloo towards Epsom for example.

Probably this morning there were still some displaced trains, which were juggled around on different diagrams than originally planned.

The 'apology messages' on the Network Rail screens at places like Southampton today said that initial investigations found the cause to be 'debris on the line', but there was no explanation of whose debris it was.

Was the 'broken down train' actually a 'damaged train', e.g. with its shoe gear knocked off?

The shoe gear was damaged by an object on the track, not seen any more information than that.
