Why can't people do what they're paid to do ?

They aren't paid to do it - Sunday is an overtime day, and staff are refusing to work that overtime ("Rest-day").

Theres been quite a few CT cancellations this week. Coventry to Nuneaton has been a bus several times this week including today due to staff shortages. Also other local services have been cancelled

I don't suppose they've asked the likes of Rivera, Fragonset etc for leased trains with crews?

Well do you think anyone gives a toss, they lost the franchise so dont think they really care. Staff morale never really been high at CT

Doubt there will be any 'hired' trains. Sundays are not compulsary for CT

Depends if there are any tours, and get with the times Yorkie, it's FMRail, not Fragonset. ;)

They said they had got some drivers in but not enough to work a service. As such, I suspect they could have run trains along core routes (XCity, Wolverhampton to Coventry, Brum to Walsall etc) even if it was only 1 driver working a 12 hour shift in one unit on each route shuttling backwards and forwards, but they've obviously decided not to do it.
