Hi Folks,
Something a bit different, on Saturday 23 September 2017 I travelled to Ireland via the excellent value Rail and Sail fares, starting at Hinckley and ending at Rosslare Harbour in Co. Wexford (I continued on to Waterford - which sadly is no longer accessable by rail from the port).
I filmed parts of the journey from a passenger point if view with captions, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but if you would like to view, the link can be found here:
The return journey on the following Saturday can be found here:
I was unable to video the Birmingham - Hinckley section on the return leg due to the train being rammed.
