He also says this set expected back in service between Christmas and New Year.

New curtains in First and carpets within vestibules have gone already into loads of vehicles now. Pleasing to note a new saloon carpet is finally going in because these are perhaps among the tattiest out there. I've no idea about those black frames though, are they the same seats as they used to have?

Very nice too. I got the 1633 to Retford which was on the next platform. I hopped on and had a look. Seems pleasant enough.

Poor quality picture might be attached if I have done it properly on my phone.

First class doesn't look half bad. Wonder what Standard looks like now it's been gutted and redone.

91125 has also been fitted with LED headlights.

Talking to EMT over twitter and I mentioned about NL65 being the Hull - London / Hull - Doncaster set and they mentioned they're going to get it back soon

As I headed south on Sunday there were quite an assortment of VTEC Mark 3s interspersed with XC Mark 3s strewn around the Craigtinney sidings

Reported elsewhere that 91104 is currently stopped for exam and vinyl application at Bounds Green. 91117 was working 1E21 and should finish BN tonight to be stopped for re-livery.

91104 has now been done. That's it. No more East Coast Grey/Silver!

Gutted that there's no East Coast Silver/Grey left.
In a way there is, since 91110 and 91111 still have a silver/grey base visible, along with East Coast's purple stripe. 91110 doesn't even have any VT branding apparently.

I did find this odd as I've just taken the 1108 Kgx to ret and about halfway up passed another VTEC service goin the other way that certainly had a grey base with purple stripe. No idea what number as we were both at line speed but I can now assume it was one of those 2.

Just seen a post on a Facebook group saying that 43257 has been named #L for Lewis in support of a member of staff with terminal cancer. Quite a gesture, all said
