Thanks for this list.

I have added 43251 and 43307 to my data; Your list is missing 43277 [EC livery].

A photo dated 24 June, 2012 shows 91114 in blue livery.

No photo can yet confirm 82226 [which I use as my basis to ensure sightings are correct]. A photo of 82206 in new livery is wrongly labelled as 82226 in flickr search.

Thanks for the update!

I did the list by looking at photos I took and accidentally tagged a photo of 82206 at 82226. As with 91114, I don't know where I got that one from but I have updated the list so it is currently correct.

Hi I don't know if you know but will east coast reprint their mark threes into the same livery as their mark fours or will they stay in their cross liveries?

How many mk4s/91s in silver and how many in grey EC livery?
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
Just seen youtube vids of EC services. What a mess it looks!

I presume EC are still repainting the HST 43s. I think the ex National Express livery on the HSTs looks very smart and the EC branding suits it. However the ex GNER livery looks pretty bad though I prefer it to the new EC livery.

I saw the ex EMT set with a National Express liveried 43 at one end and a EC 43 at the other with EMT livery in between. I thought this was due to be repainted?

Could you add another list for 91s refitted with dual pantographs? Just an idea, 91114 has been done so far.

- As and when the entire fleet begin to receive the mod.

None ofthe rest will be treated until plenty of testing has been carried out, but agree it'd be good when/if the time comes.

Not many blue ones left, will miss the variety!

Can you add the names of named locos please? I think there are 91s named 'Sir Bobby Robson' and 'City Of York' which are not mentioned, plus the BoBMF liveried one has a name to match the livery and one other named 91.

I've added the ones in my latest listing - if anyone has any more please do shout up (pending 91107 I suppose!)

Is 91101 really named 'Flying Scotsman', doesn't it just carry a special Flying Scotsman livery? If it is named 'Flying Scotsman', East Coast should be yelled at, only one loco should carry that name, the LNER's 4472, and in my opinion 91101 should be named 'Swallow' anyway. Regardless, they should be yelled at for not restoring the names 'Queen Elizabeth II' and 'Michael Faraday' to their respective locomotives (and perhaps 'Royal Armouries' and 'Scottish Enterprise' too).

The nameplates I think I've seen on photos of East Coast 91s are:
  • 'City Of York' - 91102
  • 'Sir Bobby Robson' - 91109
  • 'Battle Of Britain Memorial Flight' - 91110 (only one I've seen in person with a nameplate I think)
  • 'Blaydon Races' - 91015
  • 'West Riding Limited' - 91117
Don't take the numbers as gospel though, I'm not sure I have matched the names to their respective locomotives correctly.

It's returned to 91007 externally but remains 91107 on TOPS. Skyfall was a good watch btw.

"91114 was modified with a 'dual pantograph' in November 2012 for testing, with a view to fitting to the entire Class 91 fleet."

A double headed pantograph? Doesn't it just have two?

From what I've read on NorthernRailways, HST coaches will be repainted when the Mark 4 programme ends, apparently about removing traces of National Express livery on a majority of them.

Interestingly 91118 has been in the works again and for a second time dodged the paintshop - I wonder why they seem to have stopped painting the 91's? Nothing been done since 125 which was quite a while ago now. Could be due to availability problems.
