Most likely, yes, I've seen computer generated images of Virgin's new 800s, the seating look the same as GWR's however with red fabrics. It may be LNER now, it would be too costly to change everything in a temporarily run franchise that I expect things to look & feel unchanged also continuing the Virgin theme though without the Virgin brand as LNER is making an extensive use of the red colouring.
After the media outrage about seating in new trains, I hope these will get more cushioning as LNER intercity routes are lot longer than GWR's then it would be very uncomfortable sitting in those seats for 4 hours or more.
If this is ignored then when FirstGroup begin their rival East Coast Trains in 2021, as there will be no first class service then they could try to attract customers away from LNER with the promise of more comfortable seating and no ironing board seats used as Greater Anglia also plan to do so.
