Virgin Trains First Class, Friday Evenings

Just a quicky.

If I were to travel Virgin Trains West Coast, Manchester to Milton Keynes, on a Friday evening (in this case 1st July) on a 1st Advance Ticket, what extras could I reasonably expect?

40 quid is an acceptable price to me if I can get a decent feed and a beer. Or would the 1955 out of Manchester be less well catered, and that's why the price is so good?

Late evening menu, so not much to shout about in terms of food.
