Well seeing as it says Virgin in big letters it definitely won’t be on it at handover time. And the other TOCs that have done it, it hasn’t been quite as prominent as the pendo scheme. So he is right really. The stylish bit is obviously his opinion.
It's not about being right or wrong, just interested to see if I missed anything.

How many 390s have been done (and 221s if more have been done) ive not kept my eye on this I wonder if anything has changed since the DSQ from the new franchise

It’s the way you worded it. The writing has to come off as it has done on all franchises coming to their end. I can only compare it to the efforts of LM/LNR and VTEC when they rainbowed one and the pendo was far more prominent. VT have always been prominent in making the workplace an inclusive one. They haven’t ‘pink-washed’, they mean it.

Yes but that happened virtually overnight, where as a franchise change has a 6 month or so period of changeover where all the old TOCs branding and decals must go.
Look at TfW (Transport for Wales) after taking over from Arriva. Plenty coloured sticky tape covering any mention of Arriva until a refurbish.

So has 390131 taken it's place at Widnes or are they finally getting to do 103?
Have they now give up on the black window bands as 128, 129 & now 130 not fitted on re-paint or are they still to be fitted?
Just the 13 (unlucky for some) sets to be done now.

Looks nicer without, more like the pendolino front. TPE were meant to be doing similar with their units but that never happened either

It definitely wasnt. It was still silver a couple of weeks ago when I was on it.
Nah it was in red and silver like a few weeks ago.
I dont actually think 137 will be the next unit because it worked the 1940 EUS-GLC yesterday and I already seen 151 today so it cant be that.
