From Wednesday 14th December to Friday 23rd December VXC will be hiring a
HST set from MML to cover for shortages. It will not work Saturday or
Sunday but will work as follows:
Weds 14th
1V05 06.05 Derby - Plymouth
1E53 16.25 Plymouth - York
On to Neville Hill for Servicing

Thursday 15th to Friday 23rd December
1V29 07.05 Leeds - Plymouth
1E53 16.25 Plymouth - York
On to Neville Hill for Servicing

Do MML HSTs have power sockets and what about First Class, don't they have 2.5 coaches of Fc?

So what's the 07:50 Glasgow to Plymouth Voyager set going to do when it arrives in Plymouth, along with the 13:25 Plymouth to Glasgow, when an HST comes and forms the 07:05 ex Leeds?

Cheapest value fares from Leeds to Bristol Temple M on Friday 23rd for example are:

Leeds to Bristol- None avilable- Standard open single £59
Bristol to Leeds- VT Value 1st- £30

(Adult fare prices)- I could do it for 1/2 that


Seems like to me that VT wont offer any value fares on the way down, but will give VT value 1st on the way back

hmmm I want to do it but I'll wait til the summer specials next year (hopes they're on) I so have to do the GNER HST again!

edit: are there more detailed timings anywhere for these workings?
