I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but I wanted to post some pictures that I took of the capital of the United States:

(I'm going to hate myself for not knowing what the building in the top is, I presume it's the whitehouse) is a great example of how British buildings could be if we just put a tiny bit of effort into them; modern pretty plain buildings don't have to be so characterless as the ones we've got.

1900 Pennsylvania Avenue. We burned it down in 1812 I think.
