Sounded like The Queen doing the announcements @1:13, or Mrs Thatcher? Some interesting routes on that departure board, like "Leatherhead, Dorking North, ... Horsham, Bookham [and no further]" :did the train divide at Leatherhead just to serve Bookham? Also a train via Surbiton seems to take the junction at Weybridge towards Chertsey, apparently dividing at Weybridge with a portion going on to Portsmouth.

West Weybridge?? Is that now Byfleet and New Haw?

Smoking everywhere :( I thought fags were hard to get hold of during the war.

Unlikely; I suspect it is an error on the display - perhaps predicting the notoriously amusing Solari boards 50 years ahead of their time!
