I see the realigned Fast lines reopened at Norton Bridge today.
Seemingly all OK, presumably with a speed restriction till the end of the month?
Hopefully the last time the whole layout will need to be closed.

The 1600 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh train was cancelled at Preston as has been the 1243 London to Glasgow Looks like there has been a OHLE issue effecting lots of different trains. All seem to have cancelled "due to a problem with the overhead line power collection equipment "

Also the 1343 London to Glasgow is stuck at Wigan

There where also issues further south earlier just before 1230 between Weaver Junction and Warrington both the North and South bound trains between London and Glasgow where effected. However both seem to have continued on their way all be it late.

Doubt these are related incidents, but looks to have been a bit of a torrid afternoon on the WCML

Hello

What is ADD Activation? Also, we had to take a replacement bus as our Edinburgh-Lockerbie service was cancelled. Can I claim delay-repay?

Many thanks

ADD: Automatic Dropping Device. If something goes wrong with the pantograph the ADD kicks in and lowers the pantograph to prevent damage to the overhead cables
