I don't think this is a service train, this is a charter train so normal tickets would not be accepted.

You'd better be kidding me...I MUST go on that! I don't THINK I'm working, but I'd wager I am now!

Aren't specials to Cardiff usually ADEXs, hence open to anyone with a NR ticket?

If not, where can I get tickets? I HAVE to go on it! Haulage behind 50s, mmmmmm...

If you can't tell, I'm excited about the chance to see them storm through Newport, more so about a possible ride on them!

Just looked at the date, it's a Sunday, so there's no chance of reaching Kenny O by 1035, as I'm doing the night shift the night before as well. Excuse me whilst I go thump a wall to bits...

Yes they are usually ADEXs but this is a charter, for the playoffs final there was 50s on a charter to Cardiff, it does happen.

No for 2 reasons, 1. its not a service train and 2. it doesn't stop at Swindon.

That's what I was eager to find out! Still, it's annoying having no service I can get to reach London before...what time was it now...1430! Bad move for me there! Never mind, I'll go to Newport and see them come through, depends whether I can be bothered to get up for them (seen 50031 and 049 about 4 times each now!), the carriage stock being the only useful numbers for me.

The times with a / are the passing times. You can't go on that train without knowing who is running the train and ask them for a ticket.

Quoted from a Chelsea source:

"Chelsea take on Arsenal in the Community Shield in Cardiff on Sunday 7th August at 3pm and will be receiving approximately 25,000 tickets for the match. With two London clubs making the same journey to Cardiff, road traffic is expected to be extremely congested. Therefore Chelsea are providing special train travel to Cardiff priced at £40; train tickets can be bought at the same time as purchasing your match ticket."

So that means unless you want to buy a ticket for the match you cannot go on the train. :x

Well this train leaves from the worlds best place.. - Kenny O.
