Not so windy here in central Newcastle... however, at the height of a hail/sleetstorm this morning, some joker set off the fire alarm, and everyone in our building (four floors) and the building next door (21 floors) spent twenty minutes out in the street in the thick of it!!

PS - didn't cycle to work today!

It's pretty terrible here, it sounded like the roof of the sports hall may have blown off at any second in my GCSE mock physics!

Been Terrible here all day, lost most of our garden fence but at least the old xmas tree out the front has blown away, which means my better half can stop telling me to cut it up & put it in the green bin.

Thankfully I'm on the night shunt tonight so wont be going out mainline & playing with all those trees.:glasses2:

It has been quite windy here, but nothing too bad - the only thing that blew across our garden was an empty plastic water butt and some bird feeders.

Drving on the inside lane across the Avonmouth Bridge, with a tall lorry driving in the lane next to you was interesting though.

Loads of trees on the floor in Ashton, and several fences lying in unusual places... Also a couple of windows at my college had been smashed by "flying signs" late yesterday....
Also, on King Street in Manchester, which is very near my college, someone got killed by flying debris.... and a Ferrari was written off in Wilmslow....
