We wouldn't like to apologise to customers for the delays, cancellations and disruption that have affected some West Anglia train services since Sunday 11 December 2005.
Basically, we cocked-up the new timetable and the drivers are even more annoyed than before. In addition, the position has not been helped by some drivers refusing to work overtime, something they are totally free to do.
The combination of these factors has resulted in short-term cancellations, delays and changes to the stopping patterns of some services. Oh, hang on, that's the normal service, please ignore this paragraph.
We don't really care if you've suffered inconvenience or frustration, and we are working very hard drinking tea hoping that the problem will vanish.
Unfortunately, it is likely that some short-term cancellations and service alterations will continue until we lose the franchise, however for the time being, but we are trying to maximise the effect to your journeys and increase the level of disruption.
In the meantime, and on behalf of nOne, I am grateful for your patience and understanding.
