I'm spending most of next week travelling around the South West and South Wales, and as an uninformed idiot who lives over the other side of the country in Norwich, I was wondering about what I could expect on my journeys. I have booked or have plans to use the following services: The 1300 GWR service from Paddington to Temple Meads - is this still booked for HSTs or do the 800s rule the roost here. The 0717 GWR service from Temple Meads to Cardiff Central - same question really. Are Pacers allocated to specific Valley Lines routes/services, or can they be found on any service? GWR services between Cardiff and Taunton - what is the allocated stock here? Later in the week I'm visiting Birmingham before heading back to London. I'm booked on the 1830 CrossCountry service between Temple Meads and New Street on Thursday, and I was wondering if this is a service operated by HSTs? Similarly, the 1705 Chiltern service between Snow Hill and Marylebone on Friday, what is the likelihood of this being operated by a Class 68 with MK3s?
