At work today, somebody who travels between Slough and Ealing Broadway asked what the round signals by a Tarmac(?) yard are. She said it has one red round one in the middle and a circular row of white lights around it.

Thanks in advance.

No more than a guess for your question, but could it be an indicator for unloading a stone (?) train at the yard. The white dots might either indicate that the train should propel or that the unloading machinery is working.

It’s the Loading/Unloading indicators for West Drayton ARC terminal, just by Airport Jn
