Good afternoon all.
I have recently bought a job lot from a local auction and amongst the items is a pocket watch. The front white face is marked 'RECORD'. On the back it says L.N.E.R. 2675. The back unscrews to reveal a nicely machined back saying it's Pure Nickel Swiss with the number 1147614. It's running well and keeping good time.
My question is What exactly do I have?
Many thanks
Guy

Welcome to the forum! :)

Obvious question. Can you attach a photo of the item?

LNER watches are very common. When I started work as a guard at Kings Cross in 1983 I was given an LNER pocket watch which didn't work and I put in my bag and forgot about it, only discovering it a year later smashed to pieces. It's possibly worth £120 if it is in good working order.
