Following on from the other car threads which appear popular, how about showing us a list of your car history?
Here is mine to start us off (Its probably incomplete). Many have been owned at the same time as others- If I see a decent old car being threatened with scrap, and I think its too good I've saved it. I've also bought stuff at auctions cheap to make a quick few quid- My wife gave me hell at one point when I had 4 cars at once! I've put in bold type cars which were our main drivers at the time.

1990 (H) Renault 5 1.1
1993 (L) Renault Clio 1.2
1996 (N) Ford Fiesta 1.1 Classic
1993 (L) Citroen ZX 1.9 Turbo Diesel
2004 (53) Rover CityRover 1.4 (worst car I’ve owned, it was dirt cheap)
1996 (N) Ford Escort Estate 1.8 Ghia
1996 (P) Peugeot 306 1.9 TDi
1998 (R) Citroen Xsara 1.9d
1998 (S) Skoda Felicia 1.3
1999 (T) Skoda Felicia Estate 1.3
2006 (56) Vauxhall Astra 1.6
1993 (L) Renault Clio 1.9D
2005 (55) Vauxhall Vectra 1.9 CDTI
2007 (57) Vauxhall Corsa 1.4
2006 (56) Seat Leon 1.9 TDI
2011 (11) Nissan Note 1.4
2007 (57) Saab 9-5 1.9 TID
2008 (08) Renault Scenic 1.6
2012 (61) Peugeot 107 1.0

2012 (12) Citroen Berlingo 1.6 HDI
1999 (V) Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTS
2003 (03) Seat Toledo 1.8 20VT
2005 (55) Peugeot 206 1.4 HDI

2000 (W) Fiesta Finesse (first car, written off by a Lunatic on a motorbike)

1985 (C) Renault 11. The version Roger Moore crashes into two pieces in Paris, and continues to drive, in James Bond film "A View to a Kill". My only Bond car, so far, at least until I can afford a DB5 :D

2002 (02) Renault Clio Dynamique 1.2

2004 (54) Renault Cliosport 182 (probably the best handling car I've ever driven).

2003 (03) BMW 330ci sport auto (great car and engine, let down by the lazy slush-box auto)

2004 (04) Seat Leon Cupra TDI (first and only diesel. Quick but quite a boring, linear torque delivery

2004 (04) Alpina Roadster S 3.4 (Alpina version of the Z4. M3 level of performance, one of only 150 in the UK. I wish I'd kept it)

2001 Ford Focus Zetex (150k miles, I added 12k and sold for as much as I paid for it)

2001 BMW 330ci sport manual (current car). Manual box is far better than the auto version of the same model I owned previously.

Renault Clio 1.2 Petrol T reg - Cheryl Clio (as in Cheryl Cole)
VW Passat 1.9TDI 53 plate - Petra Passat
Mini Cooper 1.6 Petrol 51 plate - Unnamed
And now nothing as the Mini was sold to a mate as I wasn't using it enough

The Passat was my favourite and most comfortable by far but it suffered with turbo problems and was scrapped, along with the Clio.

I gave the Allegro a name: I called it Baldrick because it was small, dirty and useless!

Your Regent is to me certainly the most interesting on here. A friend of mine has a 1978 open top VR, which we've recently taken up to both Bournemouth and southsea rallies from Devon.

2002/02 VW Polo 1.2 S [ac] - Been in the family since 2008, shared between me and my brother, but it's been mine since 2012. Currently at 133k and still going strong.

2003/03 Ford Ka Style - The first car I bought myself. It was a bucket, but I bought it just after the end of the scrappage scheme, so there were almost no cheap cars available.

2001/Y Volvo V40 1.8i SE - One of my favorites. It was silver with black leather and wood trim and lovely comfy seats.

1997/P Mazda MX5 1.8 Dakar (no. 224/400) - Looked clean and tidy, but turned out to be totally rotten underneath. Sold it after 18 months, having only done 5000 miles, having spent way too much fixing it and after two attempted thefts; the first smashing a window and smashing the steering column cowling, the second cutting the roof and destroying the ignition switch.

2003/03 VW Golf 1.6 Match - Bought at short notice, a very clean, rust free and low mileage car (about 54k when I bought it in 2015) in metallic black.

1994/M Peugeot 306 1.6XR - Bought recently for £375. One owner from new, and it's just ticked over to 58k. Everything is original, even the original wheeltrims and Peugeot headlight protectors.

Some of this is a while ago but.....Many of these were company cars. I've probably missed a few of my wife's out.

1985 1976 Triumph Spitfire
1986 1983 Vauxhall Nova cos the Spitfire visibly disintegrated daily.
1988 ?? Renault 18 diesel, better than it sounds
1989 1989 Ford Sierra 1.8LX x 2 - my wife had one too.
1991 1991 Vauxhall Cavalier SRi in boy-racer white, of course!
1992 1992 Rover 416 GSi auto cos of a long term knee injury. Very accommodating employer!
1994 1994 Audi 80 Tdi Avant - kiddie wagon!
1997 1997 VW Passat TDi - the good looking bulbous one. Well it was then!
1999 1999 VW Golf TDi
2001 2001 Renault Espace. Bigger kiddie wagon. Like driving an armchair but went wrong 24 times in 28 months. Disaster!
2003 2003 Golf GT TDi. Just fantastic!
2004 2004 Honda Jazz. Given to my Mum in 2005 as my wife got a company car.
2004 1987 Audi Ur Quattro. As in "Fire up the quattro!" Got it for peanuts off a mate who had to offload it. Did it up over 3 years and still have it. This will be with me until the day I can no longer drive. The car I will always love the most and it cost me less than a 5 year old Fiesta at the time.
2005 2005 Wife's Honda Accord CDTi. V Smooth for a diesel.
2006 2002 Audi A2 TDi - we still have it. Epic car.
2007 2007 Audi A6 3.0 TDi. Kept this one for 8 years.
2014 2004 Got the Honda Jazz back from my Mum for the teenagers to drive.
2014 1972 Karmann Ghia Convertible. An indulgence before prices got silly. Wheeler Dealers has a lot to answer for!
2015 2015 Audi RS6 Avant. For the engine, I love estates and hate SUVs, talking of which.....
2017 2017 Lexus NX300h on order for my wife. Not my cuppa tea but I won't be seen dead in it!

Probably missed a couple but I've never sat down and remembered all this stuff before. Good walk down memory lane! Especially the Spitfire.

In our household over the years.

Four Fords
Three Audis
Three smart cars
Two Mercs
One Toyota, well a Peugeot/Citroen with a Toyota engine, gearbox and badge!
One Hyundai
One Jaguar
One Subaru

Best? I agree with the above, an Audi A2 1.4 TDi. Truly brilliant. A definate future classic, just wish I had somewhere to keep one as I'd buy one and pamper it!

Worst by far the Hyundai i20. What an absolute pile of do do.

From what I can remember in order:

Mk2 Escort (wrote it off within the first two weeks of driving)
1968 VW camper (original but lowered with tuned engine, had it for eight years)
Mk 2 Golf GTI (had a couple of those)
VW Passat
A Bedford Angus Fire Engine (seemed like a good idea at the time)
Audi 80
Skoda van (works van that I used out of work too actually, as well as a VW Transporter sometimes)
Mazda 323
Mazda 626
Hymer motorhome
Audi 100 estate (two of those actually, one ran on LPG)
Talbot Express camper
Seat Toledo
Mk3 Golf tdi
Audi A4 estate
BMW 320d estate (W Reg, lovely to drive but damaged the suspension drifting in a car park in the snow)
Mazda Bongo
Nissan Micra
BMW 325d estate (older shape P Reg but nice)
Merc Sprinter 312 LWB
Merc Vito 108
Nissan Serena (stupendously good because it was cheap, rugged and you didn't care too much if the kids snapped bits off it)
Peugeot 308sw (remind me never to buy French again)
VW Touran (still got it, it's fairly good)
Merc Sprinter LWB 313 (still got it and love it)

I've included my wife's cars in this since we've been together. I didn't quite realise how many vehicles I'd had until I wrote them out. I've owned other things that I've just driven once and then stripped them for bits too but I didn't count them.

They did indeed discontinue the Sierra in 92/93.

1987 Renault 5, though I never actually drove it, it was given to me but it broke before I started having driving lessons.
1988 Austin Maestro 1.3, learnt to drive in this and the following.
1990 Rover 214.
1993 Rover 214 - first car i had after passing my test, did many miles in this and only 1 head gasket change.
1995 Proton Persona 1.5 - bought this during aforementioned head gasket issues above.
1996 Citroen Xantia 1.9td - hydropneumatic suspension at its best.
1996 Mercedes C36 AMG
2003 Mercedes Sprinter 316cdi van.
2001 Mercedes S320 cdi (lwb version).
2004 Rover 75 1.8t - slowest car ever manufacturered.
2000 Mercedes Sprinter 313cdi
1997 Volvo V70 R AWD (stolen)
1999 Mercedes Sprinter 310d
2000 Volvo S80 T6
2007 Vectra 1.9 cdti
And tomorrow I am going to look at a 2008 Mercedes S320 cdi as I miss my last S class.

In no particular order:
58 reg Vauxhall Corsa
54 reg Vauxhall Corsa
52 reg Vauxhall Agila (utterly terrible)
08 reg Citroen C4
V reg Vauxhall Vectra
65 reg VW Polo
66 reg Toyota Aygo
15 reg Nissan Leaf

Some of those I only had for a short while, others stuck around longer - the list consists of rather a wide range of reasons for obtaining the vehicles (e.g family hand-me-downs - the Vectra, or needing a second car - the Aygo).
