I have received National Rail Travel Vouchers from Virgin East Coast, for seating issues I had on a recent visit to the UK. I live in the United States and I will not be able to use the vouchers, as they expire after a year, and I will not be able to get back over there before then. They say not transferable on the front but don't have my name on them.

What I want to know is, am I the only person who can use them? They were actually for tickets held by me and my wife but sent to me, so I don't even know if she could use them, without me there.

The name on the vouchers is not checked on redemption for train tickets.

That's exactly what I did a few months ago when I wanted to use up some almost expiring vouchers.
