Just interested to know what trains go through this depot, if any, in Polmadie? Thank you!

No passenger carrying trains operate through any depot. Trains that pass Polmadie TMD on the WCML are EC services to London, TPX services to Manchester, VT services to Birmingham & London, XC services to Edinburgh and various Scotrail services on the Argyle line..

The only time I have ever heard of some services passing through a depot is when there is engineering work on, or some sort of disruption.

Am I right in thinking the Caley Sleeper goes into Wembley to reverse when diverted via the ECML?

Examples of this have, IIRC, occurred at Lovers' Walk depot, although that's rather a long way from Polmadie...

I can't think of any ScotRail services on the Argyle line that pass Polmadie
Only the Glasgow Central services do, serving Whifflet and (Edinburgh via) Shotts

To observe Polmadie, sit on the right hand side as you head northbound, there is usually very little to see on the other side now

Yes, the sleeper passes through the freight yard and sits virtually opposite the depot
The reverse takes about an hour

The Bakerloo Line services that run north of Queen's Park pass through the shed there although it's not a depot as such.

That's the one I was going to say...

...also once I think it was a SE train that was diverted through the carriage wash when one line was blocked adjacent to it, of course the passengers complained but better than cancelling the service!

The line through the middle of St Phillips Marsh depot in Bristol sees occasional use.
Usually due to a faulty speedo, windscreen wiper or headlight on a westbound service.

Sending it out towards London and round the Marsh reverses the set.

Other very rare moves through depots seem to happen down in South Eastern land - Grove Park & Orpington depots spring to mind!

I'd be very impressed if you got a train through Orpington carriage sidings.
