What was on yesterday? (South london)

Hi all,

Hope someone can help. I was on a 465 SET and went through Clapham High street, and some 37 or 47 passed by (only caught 1/2 a second of it) with choc/cream coaches, what tour was this on and what loco number, isnt listed in my magazine, or nothing to me that seemed like a obvious path.

any help would be great

Don't think the snouts went near Clapham. Stock sounds a bit like the VSOE, that was about, probably a 67 on the front.

No. The Wales Rambler started and terminated at Ealing Broadway.

no i saw the wales rambler at reading erlier and as said anyway started at EB.
This happened between...say 1500-1700 if anything, could of been a skip but to mee sounded like when it passed....gRROWll..woosh..woosh..woosh..soosh (ect)
